Job Opportunity: MedSurg Swing RN

Location: Corning, Iowa
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements

• Specialty: MedSurg Swing RN
• Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA) required
• Experience:

  • ED experience preferred but not required
  • TNCC preferred
• Prior travel experience: Not specified (assumed not required)

Work Details

• Unit: Swing RN for critical access
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM), days vary
• Weekend: Every other weekend required
• Policies:

  • Fingernail policy: Artificial nails prohibited in all patient care departments; refusal to comply may result in contract termination
  • Must comply with a 50-mile radius rule (proof via driver’s license)
  • Interview process is with the facility only; no clinical involvement during interview
  • Must wait 12 months to apply as a traveler if previously worked permanent or PRN with the health system
