Pediatric Sleep Tech / Polysomnographic Technologist
Location: Fargo, North Dakota
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Requirements
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) via BRPT or registration from American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM)
- North Dakota state license or willingness to obtain prior to start
- Minimum 2 years of pediatric and/or NICU sleep study experience
Job Details
- Work 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts (Monday through Friday)
- No weekends or on-call required
- May be the only pediatric sleep tech on site but will work alongside adult sleep techs
- Perform diagnostic polysomnographic studies, titration, multiple sleep latency, and maintenance of wakefulness tests
- Record and provide accurate data to physicians for diagnosis and treatment of sleep/wake disorders
- Use computerized charting and Natus software for sleep studies
Unit Information
- 2 pediatric beds
- Dress code: Dark gray scrubs
- No floating to other units/departments
- Orientation/training available with experienced team; pediatric and/or NICU sleep study experience required prior to start
