Pediatric Sleep Tech / Polysomnographic Technologist

Location: Fargo, North Dakota
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements

BLS (AHA) certification
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) via BRPT or registration from American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM)
North Dakota state license or willingness to obtain prior to start
Minimum 2 years of pediatric and/or NICU sleep study experience

Job Details

Work 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts (Monday through Friday)
No weekends or on-call required
May be the only pediatric sleep tech on site but will work alongside adult sleep techs
Perform diagnostic polysomnographic studies, titration, multiple sleep latency, and maintenance of wakefulness tests
Record and provide accurate data to physicians for diagnosis and treatment of sleep/wake disorders
Use computerized charting and Natus software for sleep studies

2 pediatric beds
Dress code: Dark gray scrubs
No floating to other units/departments
Orientation/training available with experienced team; pediatric and/or NICU sleep study experience required prior to start
