Job Description

• Position available at a Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Must have experience working in LTC/SNF settings.
• Common patient diagnoses include hypertension, diabetes, and patients needing assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and transfers.
• Patient-to-nurse ratio approximately 1:40, supported by medication aides for pill administration.
• Electronic Medical Record system used: PointClickCare (PCC) preferred.
• IV certification not required for LPNs.
• Location-specific orientation provided based on individual needs.

Work Schedule

• Shift: 12-hour shifts, primarily 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Weekend coverage: Every other weekend.
• Holiday coverage: Every other holiday, rotating annually.
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 hours.
• Work week runs Sunday through Saturday.
• No overtime available.
• No on-call or call-back required.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in LTC/SNF facilities.
• Active Iowa LPN license or compact license valid in Iowa.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.

Additional Information

• No use of LPNs in place of RNs for this role.
