Job Opportunity: Nurse Manager

Role Summary

This Nurse Manager position combines charge nurse, clinical mentor, and managerial responsibilities. The clinician provides on-shift leadership to ensure safe, high-quality, and compassionate patient care while supporting staff and fostering a positive work environment. Responsibilities include rounding on patients, addressing service or safety concerns, and serving as a resource for clinical and interpersonal issues. The clinician will also take charge nurse assignments as needed, depending on census and staffing levels.

Shift: Nights, every other weekend (EOW), first to float

Required Qualifications

• Must have been a charge RN in the last assignment
• No first-time travelers accepted (prior travel experience required)
• ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS - AHA or APEX certifications required
• 3 weeks of orientation: 1 week classroom, 2 weeks unit orientation

Additional Information

• This is a Nurse Shift Manager position
• Prior travel experience is required (not suitable for first-time travelers)
