Labor & Delivery / LDRP RN

Location

• Grand Rapids, Minnesota

Contract

• 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour shifts
• Days and nights

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Minnesota
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum experience
• BLS
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
• NRP
• 1 year MedSurg experience
• Med Surg experience

Preferred

• Fetal Heart Monitoring course completion

Schedule Notes

• Rotating days/nights with weekday/weekend rotation
• Nights with potential day coverage if needed
• Scheduled 3 out of 4 weekends per schedule if needed
• May be overstaffed for three 12-hour shifts per contract with call back

Role Details

• Labor & Delivery / LDRP nurse for a women’s health and birth center
• May float to MedSurg if needed
• Not required to circulate on C-sections; assist with baby only
• Typical assignment is 1 nurse with up to 2 mother-baby pairs, sometimes 3
• Low high-risk birth volume
