Physical Therapist (PT) - Nebraska, Kimball

Job Overview

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday preferred; 4x10-hour shifts possible
• Typical shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Work with inpatient, swingbed, outpatient, and local athletics patients
• Patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics, including high school athletes
• Majority of caseload is outpatient
• Opportunity to work alongside hand and orthopedic surgeons
• Therapists comfortable with joint replacements and post-operative care (including splinting for OT/COTA) are a good fit; training available if needed

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide hands-on therapy, exercises, and therapeutic techniques
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery goals
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to ensure continuity of care
• Document patient progress accurately and timely
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and clinical students
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment

Work Environment

• Clinical setting with patients of all ages
• Requires physical activity, including assisting patients with mobility
• Potential exposure to communicable conditions; adherence to safety protocols required

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Nebraska
• Minimum of 2 years of Physical Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
