15 Tower Surgical RN

Overview

  • Location: Houston, Texas
  • Contract length: 6 weeks
  • Shift: Nights
  • Hours: 12-hour shifts, 48 hours per week
  • Schedule: Every other weekend; no self-scheduling; first to float

Unit / Role

  • 15 Tower Surgical
  • Focuses on major abdominal surgeries, Plastics, ENT, and Ortho
  • Nurse ratio: 1:5-6
  • Includes surgical patients and patients after 6CA SICU

Required Qualifications

  • RN license
  • ACLS
  • BLS Certification
  • NIHSS
  • Cardiac drip experience
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Prior travel experience
  • Experience working in a very busy hospital
  • EPIC familiarity
