Job Description
- Provide direct patient care as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department.
- Follow clinical protocols, safety standards, and quality improvement guidelines.
- Assess patient conditions, document changes, and communicate critical updates to the healthcare team.
- Execute physician and nursing orders accurately while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety.
- Collaborate on discharge planning to ensure safe transitions and continuity of care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas.
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience.
- Emergency Department experience within the last year.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification issued by the American Heart Association or the American Academy of Pediatrics.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI) training.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Women's Services experience.
Experience
