Job Description

• Provide direct patient care as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department.
• Follow clinical protocols, safety standards, and quality improvement guidelines.
• Assess patient conditions, document changes, and communicate critical updates to the healthcare team.
• Execute physician and nursing orders accurately while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety.
• Collaborate on discharge planning to ensure safe transitions and continuity of care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas.
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience.
• Emergency Department experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification issued by the American Heart Association or the American Academy of Pediatrics.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI) training.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Women's Services experience.

Experience
