Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist - Outpatient

Location: Nantucket, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 21 weeks (approximately 5 months)

Job Description

• Outpatient setting only
• Work schedule: 4 shifts per week, each 10 hours long
• Shifts start between 8:00 - 8:30 AM
• Shared housing provided at no cost

Required Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts Physical Therapist (PT) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA preferred)
• Must meet all professional license verification requirements (no conditional licenses accepted)
• Required health and safety vaccinations and screenings including:

  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) immunity or vaccination
  • Influenza vaccine (mandatory during flu season)
  • TB screening within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity preferred
  • Tdap vaccine preferred
• Fit Test for N95 respirator within 365 days of start date (no exemptions allowed)
• Physician health statement within 365 days of start date
• Criminal background checks including Massachusetts CORI, SSN trace, national sex offender registry, and exclusion checks
• Documentation of work history and education verification
• References: 2 professional references within 4 years, including at least 1 supervisor-level reference

Additional Requirements

• Completion of FEMA ICS 100 Training prior to assignment
• Compliance with all onboarding and credentialing requirements as per facility policies
• Must complete all required documentation and attestations before start date
