Imaging Multimodality Technologist

Location: Pembroke Pines, Florida Employment Type: LTA Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:30

Role Overview

• Provides diagnostic imaging for CT and X-ray in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
• CT Technologist experience of 1 year, completed within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, required for all positions with patient contact
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• Driver's License
• Multimodal Technologist experience

Onboarding Requirements

Health and immunizations:

• Proof of 2 MMR vaccinations or an IgG titer, prior to start
• Proof of 2 Varicella vaccinations or an IgG titer, prior to start
• Hepatitis B surface antibody (titer) or declination accepted; documentation of vaccination series recommended in addition to the titer
• TB test (QuantiFERON or T-Spot) completed within 12 months prior to start; past positive requires a chest X-ray and a TB questionnaire updated annually
• Influenza vaccine or exemption required for all positions; exemptions must align with flu policy
• Physical/health statement signed by an MD, DO, NP, or PA, attesting to the job's physical requirements (does not expire)
• Unexpired government-issued photo ID, if required for the position; must match compact license state if applicable

Background and verification:

• Background check completed within 30 days prior to start, including 7-year county and national criminal searches, SSN trace with all aliases, and nationwide sex offender, OIG, SAM, and OFAC checks
• Sex offender, OIG, OFAC, and SAM checks completed within 30 days prior to start and updated annually
• Employment verification for the previous 7 years
• 2 professional references from managers/supervisors or higher
• Education verification (highest level, third-party verified; required for all positions)
• I-9/E-Verify attestation
• 10-panel drug screen completed within 60 days prior to start (does not expire)
• Color badge photo taken within the past 6 months, with a solid blue background and no selfies or filters
• Resume submitted with application; reviewed by the department leader before an offer is extended

Competencies and testing:

• Skills checklist current within 12 months prior to start, specific to each position the candidate may work in; required annually or after any break in service
• Core competencies exam completed within 365 days prior to start, with an 80% pass rate (required for all positions)

Optional:

• Fit test, completed on site and required for direct patient care positions
• Tdap, recommended
• Annual TB questionnaire
