Required Qualifications

  • Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Texas.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, including experience within the last year.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to administer intramuscular and intravenous injections and start intravenous lines.
  • Proficient in operating Gamma cameras, including SPECT/CT and PET/CT scanners.
  • Proficient in operating nuclear medicine computers.
  • Proficient in operating Cardiac Stress equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of EKG to perform cardiac studies.
