Job Opportunity: LVN / LPN - Travel/Contract

Location: Culver City, California
Facility Type: Outpatient Clinic

Schedule

• Rotating schedule with every other weekend and some holidays
• Monday-Friday: 11:30 AM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday-Sunday: 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid California LVN License
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
• Flu vaccination (no exemptions or declinations allowed)
• Minimum 1 year experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Room
• Minimum 2 years overall outpatient experience
• Phlebotomy and IV certification
• Previous charge/lead experience
• Experience with CS Link/Epic electronic health record systems

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room

Additional Requirements

• Weekend and holiday availability required
• No on-call required
• Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs
• Locals accepted within a 50-minute commute
• Pending licenses are not accepted
• No requests for return to office (RTO) in the first 2 weeks of assignment

Job Duties

• Perform shift lead duties
• Perform and record quality control testing on designated equipment
• Schedule nurse visits for phlebotomy, testing, or other procedures
• Administer immunizations, injections, or oral medications
• Draw and prepare lab specimens for pickup
• Handle clinic care telephone interactions with provider input
• Cover Medical Assistant duties during absences, illnesses, and breaks

Certifications & Compliance

• Must maintain current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Other certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, CHEMO, TNCC, EFM may be required depending on assignment
• Background check including 7-year criminal history and education verification required
• Drug screening panel required within 1 year of start (excluding Marijuana/THC)
• Fit mask test within 12 months required (N95 or equivalent)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• Required immunizations: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and seasonal flu vaccine (no declinations allowed)
• Two professional references required, including one supervisory reference

Important Health & Safety Policies

• Flu vaccination is mandatory during flu season (Nov 1 - Apr 30) with strict no-declination policy
• Strict photo requirements for badge issuance
• Candidates must review and sign facility-specific policies including Code of Conduct, Attendance Policy, Job Hazard Analysis, Social Media Policy, and Confidentiality agreements

This position is suitable for first-time travel nurses and locals within commuting distance. Prior travel experience is not required.
