Certifications

• Certifications are optional for this position.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and other certifications may be required depending on specific roles or units but are not mandatory here.

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Background Checks:

  • 7-year criminal background check within 90 days of start
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM checks updated as required
  • HHS/OIG checks updated as required
  • State-specific search (South Carolina SLED) required

• Health Documents:

  • Physical exam updated annually
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray per guidelines
  • Immunizations or titers for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
  • Drug testing (5 panel urine or hair) within 90 days of start
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or declination documentation
  • COVID-19 vaccination required with exemption process available

• References & History:

  • Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
  • Verification of past 7 years of employment (not required for housekeeping)
  • Performance evaluations if previously employed at the facility

Orientation & Facility Specifics

• Online orientation and training required prior to start (approx. 1-2 hours)
• Photo submission on plain background required before start for badge issuance
• Facility-specific checklists and compliance forms must be completed as applicable

Summary

This is a travel contract position for an experienced Cardiovascular Technologist/Electrophysiology Technologist with at least 5 years of specialty experience and prior travel contract experience. The role involves performing all EP procedures, working 4 ten-hour shifts per week, with no weekend or on-call requirements. Compliance with extensive background checks, health documentation, and facility orientation is mandatory.
