Job Opportunity: Echo Tech Cardiac Sonographer Pediatrics
Location: Columbus, Ohio

- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – required for NICU RNs
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – as applicable
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) – as applicable
- RRTs require NBRC certification
Licensure
- Ohio State or Compact RN license for RNs
- Ohio State license for RRTs (address on license must match photo ID)
- NURSYS verification for RNs, LPNs/LVNs
Background Checks & Screenings
- Criminal background check within 30 days of start (7-year search including all counties lived/worked)
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start
- Ohio BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 60 days of start (must be updated for each new contract)
- Sex offender search within 30 days of start
- State-specific searches (Ohio Nurse Aide Registry, Inmate Registry, Medicaid Exemption, Abuse Registry) within 30 days of start
- Drug screening (9-panel) within 60 days of start
- References: 2 professional references required (Charge RN acceptable for one)
- Employment application and resume required
- Unit-specific skills checklist updated annually
Health & Immunization
- Physical exam (within 1 year of start) or signed Infection Control Policy
- TB testing options: 2 PPDs or QGOLD/TSPOT within 12 months; additional requirements if positive
- Flu vaccine required annually (Oct 31 - May 31); medical/religious exemptions accepted with documentation
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years
- Hepatitis B: declination, completed vaccine series, or positive titer required
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella: positive titer or 2 vaccines required; boosters if negative/equivocal
- N95 Fit Testing required within 1 year of start and updated annually
- Fingerprinting proof of submission required within 24-48 hours of signing contract
