Travel/Contract Registered Nurse (NICU)

Location: Worcester, Massachusetts
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse with NICU specialty for a travel/contract position. The role requires working 36 hours per week in a Level 3 or 4 NICU setting.


Required Qualifications

  • License: Current Massachusetts RN license preferred. If not currently held, nurse must apply for the MA license within 24 hours of accepted offer.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Level 3 or 4 NICU.
  • Certifications:
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required (AHA/AAP).
    • Previous Epic charting experience required.
  • Other:
    • Must be able to work 36 hours per week.

Additional Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License or State ID.
  • Background checks including 7-year criminal background, education verification, and state-specific clearances required.
  • Health documents including physical exam (within 12 months), immunizations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, Flu, COVID), TB testing, and drug testing required.
  • Pass medication and telemetry competency exams as applicable.
  • References: 2 references within the last 3 years.
  • Employment application covering 7 years of employment history with explanations for gaps over 30 days.
  • Annual updates for certain documents and certifications may be required.
