• Location: Auburn, New York
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Day, 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30

• Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday; no blocked scheduling

Assignment Details

• Role: Step-Down RN
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Unit / patient population: Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), post-heart catheterization, post-vascular procedures, respiratory failure (BiPAP / CPAP / Vapotherm), and cardiac dysrhythmias
• Unit procedures / expectations: Post-heart cath care, TR bands, post-vascular procedure monitoring, frequent vital signs and neurovascular checks
• Medication system: Pyxis
• Patient ratio: 1:4–5

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• Stepdown (2 years of experience)
• Stepdown experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Background check within 1 year of start covering all locations lived/worked/in school for the past 7 years, with annual updates
• EPLS/GSA/SAM clearance prior to facility start
• HHS/OIG clearance prior to facility start
• Orientation Safety Manual acknowledgement
• 2 professional references within 3 years of hire
