Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Berkeley, California
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
- 36 hours per week
- Weekend coverage: every other weekend and as needed by the unit
- On-call: as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (3 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Must be comfortable and proficient with Neuro patients
- Willingness to float to other units within scope of practice, including Summit or Herrick Campus
- Travel nurses are expected to be flexible with floating between campuses or within the hospital
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Additional Notes
- The unit sees a lot of Neuro patients
- Travelers can typically expect about 1.5 hours’ notice before shift start when floating
- Shuttle provided if floating is requested
