Role Overview
- Travel/Contract Registered Nurse position in Columbus, Ohio.
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30.
- May float to a unit with similar acuity.
- Contract length: 13 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio.
- Post Partum experience with 2 years of experience.
- Post Partum experience within the last year.
- BLS issued by American Heart Association.
- NRP issued by American Heart Association.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients.
- IV start skills.
- Labor and Delivery experience.
- Experience with Epic.
- 2 professional references.
- Employment application.
- Skills checklist.
- Emergency Contact Form.
- Background check, including Ohio BCI/FBI fingerprinting.
- Education accreditation verification for nursing program.
- License verification.
- NURSYS verification.
- Unit-specific competency exam.
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam.
- Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam.
- Orientation Safety Manual acknowledgement.
- State-required attestation for variable OR schedule, if applicable.
- Physical exam.
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray.
- Tdap.
- MMR immunity or vaccination documentation for measles, mumps, and rubella.
- Hepatitis B immunity or vaccination documentation.
- Varicella immunity or vaccination documentation.
- Negative 10-panel drug screen.
- Flu vaccination or declination during flu season.
- References and employment history documentation.
- Fraud, Waste, and Abuse training certificate.
- Ethics and compliance policy acknowledgement.
- Confidential fraud, waste, abuse, and compliance reporting form.
- Background acknowledgement form for subcontractor candidates.
- Proof of fingerprint completion, if applicable.
