Overview

• Travel/contract RN assignment in Matthews, North Carolina.
• 4 x 12-hour nights, 18:45–07:15.
• 48 hours per week.
• Float requirement: yes.
• Weekend requirement: 2–3 weekends in 6 weeks.
• Target ratio: 1:5–7.
• Unit has 40 beds and a daily census of 39.
• Unit accepts 16+ week contracts up to February 27, 2027.
• RTO after booking is not allowed.

Unit

• 4th Floor medical surgical unit with an emphasis in Bariatrics and Orthopedics.
• Patient population: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience).
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year.
• Telemetry.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• NIHSS.
• IV Start.
• IV insertion skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS.

Additional Details

• Unit will accept first-time travelers.
• Locals are accepted.
• 36 hours of orientation.
• Travelers must be available all week during week one for hospital orientation.
• Scrubs are not provided; navy, white, or a combination is allowed.
