Step Down Nurse
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Columbus, Ohio
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Float required within the facility
- Every other weekend required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Stepdown experience within the last year
- 1 year of stepdown experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Telemetry experience
- Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips
- Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills
- 2 professional references, including at least 1 from a manager, director, or other formal leadership role

- 7-year criminal background check within 90 days of start
- Ohio BCI and FBI fingerprinting within 1 year of start
- Proof of fingerprint completion

- Fraud, waste, and abuse training certificate

- Physical exam within 1 year of start
