Observation Unit

Overview

Travel/contract role in Worcester, Massachusetts
13 weeks, 36 hours per week
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM start
Surge/overflow area located in the ED
Floating: may float to different areas within the ED to care for overflow/surge patients
Weekend requirement: every other weekend / every other holiday
No RTO approved on 12/24, 12/25, or 12/31
Must be able to start on the posted date
Accepts first-time travelers

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
Observation experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Must pass two orientation exams: medication exam and telemetry exam
Must pass each exam on the first attempt or the contract is cancelled
