Role

• ER RN travel/contract position in West Islip, New York.
• 13-week contract.
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30.
• 36 hours per week.

Facility / Unit

• 437-bed teaching hospital.
• Level II Trauma Center.

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid RN license in New York
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• 2 clinical references at supervisor level or above; Charge RNs are acceptable.
• Driver’s license or state ID with address and clear picture.
• 7 years of employment history with any gaps explained.
• Current and valid phone number and email address on application.
• Skills checklist current within the last year and applicable to the position.
• State license verification within 30 days of start.

Preferred

• COVID vaccination if already received.

Other Notes

• Uniform: scrubs in all white, all navy, or a combination of those colors.
• Local rate applies within 75 miles of the facility.
