Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 4x10 hour day shifts
• No weekends or call
• Start times vary from 6:30 AM to 7:00 AM
• End times vary from 4:15 PM to 5:30 PM, depending on case volume

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio RN license
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association
• 1 year of Operating Room experience within the last year
• Experience working with hand patients
• Experience in upper extremity surgery
• Plastic surgery experience
• Orthopedics experience
• Flu vaccine required
• Must pass drug/nicotine test and background check
• 2 professional references, including at least 1 from the most recent employer
• 3 years prior work history, including at least 2 years of clinical practice in an acute care setting and in a similar area to the assignment
• Unit-specific skills checklist
• Pre-employment physical within 1 year of start
• Tdap within 10 years of start
• TB questionnaire
• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
• Negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine within 30 days of start

Preferred

• ACLS
• PALS
• CNOR
• Negative TB test within 6 months of start, or negative T-spot within 6 months

Additional Notes

• Criminal background check is required within 1 year of start and must be updated after breaks in service of 2 or more months
• BCI and FBI fingerprinting are not required
• Candidates seeking a flu vaccine exemption must complete the facility-specific exemption process
