Job Overview

Required Qualifications

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Maryland
• Interventional Radiology Technologist (2 years of experience)
• Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• RCIS

Call Details

• 14–15 days of call in a 6-week period
• Weekday call: 5:30 PM–7:00 AM
• Weekend call: Friday 5:30 PM–Monday 7:00 AM, on a rotating call team basis

Additional Requirements

• Proof of 2 clinical references
• Driver’s license or state ID
• Proof of state residency
• E-Verify or attestation
• Background check
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit test within 1 year of start
• Tdap within 10 years of start
• Negative TB screening or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• TB questionnaire
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 1 year of start
• Flu vaccination required; declinations and exemptions not accepted

Notes

• Interventional Radiology RNs must complete moderate sedation competency testing along with IR specialty testing.
