• 7:00 AM–7:30 PM

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Ventilator experience
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• Level 1 or Level 2 experience preferred
• Travel experience preferred

Unit / Role Details

• Care includes telemetry, drips, and ventilators
• Patient population includes COPD, CHF, pneumonia, flu, sepsis, diabetic ketoacidosis, and post-COVID
• Trach and BiPAP patients are cared for on the unit
• No orally intubated patients on the unit
• Target patient ratio is 1:4, with assignments up to 1:5–6

Scheduling / Floating

• Available for 36 or 48 hours per week
• Traveler floats first at the employer’s discretion
• May float to other campuses within the local area
• Must be available every other weekend and holiday

Other Notes

• Navy blue scrubs
• N95 fit testing is required before working on the unit unless PAPR is used
• RTO must be requested with the initial submission and is subject to manager approval
