Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pediatrics (Travel/Contract)
Location
- Charleston, South Carolina
Position Details
- Specialty: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics (RRT / Pediatrics)
- Shift: Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- On-call: Not required
- Floating: May float within scope depending on experience; no floating to sister facilities
- Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in South Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience working with Pediatric, Neonate, and Infant patients
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
- Open to block scheduling with prior approval
Additional Information
- Radius rule: 60 miles; local candidates considered case-by-case
- Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off 1 shift every 2 weeks
- Hurricane season (June–November) may require emergency response team participation
- Parking available with a one-time $20 pass for nights and weekends
- Badge photo required prior to start (passport-style, solid light background, business casual attire)
Orientation and Onboarding
- Completion of facility-specific orientation modules (~2 hours) required before starting
- Upload vaccination records and required documents into facility system prior to start
- First Day Instructions (FDI) will be provided after clearance
