NICU Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Position

Location: Edmonds, Washington
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide nursing care in a Level II NICU unit, caring for infants 32 weeks gestation or greater and normal newborns.
Attend vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including high-risk deliveries.
Manage respiratory support such as CPAP and BiPAP.
Care for infants requiring feeding tubes and syringe pumps.
Float to other units as needed.
NICU nurses are not expected to care for mother-baby couplets unless already competent in those skills.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), with NICU experience within the last year.
Completion of Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
