Job Opportunity: Case Manager Registered Nurse

Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Manage case load with a ratio of approximately 1:25-30 adults and geriatrics.
• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM), plus one full weekend every 4 weeks.
• No call or holiday shifts required.
• Responsibilities include completing initial patient assessments and revisiting patients at least every third day.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, EPIC, CarePort, AllScripts, and Powerchart.
• Level 1 Trauma experience preferred.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Acute Care Case Management.
• Acute Care Case Management experience within the last year.
• Experience in an Acute Care setting.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records.
• Experience with Allscripts.
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.

Work Environment & Schedule

• 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (8:30 AM to 5:00 PM).
• One full weekend every 4 weeks.
• No call or holiday shifts.

• Fingerprinting per Florida AHCA Level II requirements, with clearance on file prior to start.
• Annual competency exams and color blindness testing as applicable.

• Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are considered.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.

This role is ideal for experienced acute care case management RNs who are proficient with EPIC and looking for a structured weekday schedule with minimal weekend commitment.
