Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
National Tech Certification Verification
Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement
NIRSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)

Additional Information

No flu exemptions allowed
Badge photo required prior to start (specific background and appearance guidelines)
Various facility-specific forms and agreements must be reviewed and signed
Drug screening includes onsite second test during orientation; positive marijuana test requires immediate discontinuation
Random drug screening may be required during contract
Safety Sensitive Clearance may be required if onsite drug test is failed
Candidates must comply with all state and facility-specific health and safety documentation requirements
