Job Description
- Position on Cardiac Telemetry unit (South Main Three - SM3)
- Required to float to Neuro Telemetry (NM4) and Post Op/Observation (SM4) units as needed
- Every 3rd weekend required as needed
- First-time travelers accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry nursing experience, with experience within the last year
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Additional Information
- Must complete facility-specific orientation modules prior to start
- Valid driver's license required if driving is an essential job function
- Medication/Pharmacology competency exam required within 3 years, minimum 80% score
- Color blindness testing required (online or in-person)
- Annual safety manual acknowledgement required
- Work history verification required for at least 2 years in the past 7 years
- Employment application must include 7 years of work history with no gaps
Prior Travel Experience
- Not required; first-time travelers are accepted for this position.
Schedule
- 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (1850-0720 shift)
- Every 3rd weekend required as needed
