Job Summary
Seeking a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Operating Room procedures. The role involves providing C-arm and O-arm coverage during surgical interventions, performing X-ray procedures in surgical settings, and collaborating with surgical and medical teams to ensure optimal patient care. Work settings include outpatient, inpatient, and Level I Trauma centers.
Work Schedule
- 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (4x10 schedule)
- Call responsibilities required
Responsibilities
- Provide C-arm and O-arm coverage in the Operating Room
- Perform X-ray procedures for surgical interventions
- Collaborate with surgical and medical teams
- Maintain equipment functionality and adhere to safety protocols
- Participate in ongoing education and training
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technician license in Ohio
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with ARRT registration
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) in a similar role
- Experience within the last year as a Radiology Technician
- Experience in Level I Trauma settings
- Experience in teaching hospital environments
- Operating Room (OR) experience
- Outpatient and inpatient experience
- Proficiency in providing C-arm and O-arm coverage
- Experience performing X-ray procedures in surgical settings
- X-Ray Technician experience

Background & Compliance Requirements
- 7-year criminal background check within 90 days of start, including FBI and state fingerprinting
- Monthly monitoring through federal exclusion lists (EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG)
- Education accreditation verification required
- Fingerprinting (BCI & FBI) must be completed within 1 year of start and comply with state-specific codes
- Pending background check attestation required if fingerprint results are pending
- Annual review and acknowledgment of dress code, hand hygiene, ethics, and compliance policies
- Fraud, Waste, and Abuse training certificate required prior to start and updated annually
Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA approved
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required depending on unit
- Other certifications may be required based on unit assignment (e.g., PALS, NRP, NIH Stroke Certification)
- State license verification within 30 days of start
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start confirming good health and free of contagious disease
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccination (adult dose after age 11/12)
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B titer or 3-vaccine series (declination acceptable)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or declination during flu season (10/1 - 3/31)
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 3 months of start (no pending tests allowed)
- COVID vaccination not required but recommended
Additional Requirements
- Two professional references required; at least one must be from a manager or formal leader
- Employment application and skills checklist required prior to start
- Unit-specific competency exams may be required
