Job Details

• Shift: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Schedule: Rotating day off
• On Call: Every 3rd weekend plus 1 weekday (approximately 8 days/month)
• On Call Requirement: Must clock in within 30 minutes; strictly monitored

Job Description

• Must have thorough knowledge of C-arm and sterile procedural techniques in peripheral cases.
• Highly preferred to have neuro experience.
• Required skills include neuro interventional (stroke) procedures, PE thrombectomy/lysis, and trauma bleed embolization (emergent on-call procedures).
• General orientation begins on Mondays with online computer-based learning (CBLs).
• Orientation includes 16 hours of non-billable training.
• The schedule may be adjusted biweekly without penalty due to census changes.

Required Qualifications

• Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
• Thorough knowledge of C-arm operation
• Sterile procedural knowledge in peripheral cases
• Certifications:

  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • ARRT Interventional Technologist certification
• License: Must hold a valid license appropriate for Interventional Radiology technologists.
• Traveler’s permanent residence must be at least 100 miles from the hospital’s service area.
