Electroencephalography Technologist

Location

Concord, Massachusetts

Schedule

Days, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
5 x 8-hour shifts
40 hours per week

Assignment Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

EEG Technologist experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS
Registered EEG Technologist (R. EEG T.)
Registered Evoked Potential Technologist (R. EP T.)
1 year of previous patient care or healthcare experience
Electrophysiology Technician experience

Preferred Qualifications

3–5 years of EEG lab experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Graduate of a two-year EEG and/or Evoked Potential Testing program recognized by ABRET preferred

Role Overview

Performs EEG and neurological testing on inpatients and outpatients
May perform standard EEG testing, auditory and visual evoked response testing, and median-tibial somatosensory testing
Handles related clerical duties such as scheduling, billing, and filing reports
Participates in quality improvement and departmental education/training
