Physical Therapist (Travel)

Location: Independence, Missouri

Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel
• Contract Length: 12 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36 (5 days/week, 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday)
• Schedule: 0800-1630, 1 weekend every 6 weeks (flexibility to swap days if working weekend)
• Unit: Physical Therapy (Acute care and inpatient rehab)
• Patient Ratios: Acute care 12:1, Rehab 4-5:1
• Floating: May cover both acute and rehab units
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Equipment: Safe patient handling and standard rehab equipment
• Dress Code: Eggplant colored scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Missouri
• Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification
• Experience in a Rehabilitation setting
• HHCCA - De-escalation Skills - Healthcare Setting
