CT Tech Travel Position - Florida

Location

  • City: Davie, Florida

Employment Type

  • Travel assignment
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

  • Approximately 36 hours per week
  • Day and night shifts covered by one tech each

Unit Information

  • Unit type: CT and X-ray
  • Number of beds: 11
  • Staff: 1 tech covering both CT and X-ray
  • Equipment: GE imaging systems
  • Documentation system: Meditech
  • Call requirements: None

Typical Procedures

  • CT exams: head, chest, abdomen and pelvis, pulmonary embolism (PE), stroke
  • X-ray exams: chest, abdomen, extremities, spine, head

Required Qualifications

  • Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
  • Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
  • ARRT Certification
  • BLS certification
  • Experience as an X-Ray Technician
  • De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting
