Job Opportunity: Rad Tech
Location: Seattle, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Requirements
Licenses & Certifications:
- Washington State Radiologic Technologist License (must have at time of submittal)
- ARRT Certification
- BLS Certification
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of Radiologic Technology experience (higher requirement noted)
- ER experience preferred
- Must be able to cover all areas including General Radiology, Fluoroscopy, and OR
- Experience operating O-arm and C-arm equipment important
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required

- Outpatient Ortho Clinic
- Emergency Room (ER)
- CCU Fluoro/X-ray Room
- Operating Rooms (34 rooms)
Equipment:
- Philips Digital X-ray rooms (mostly DR, some CR)
- GE DR portable machines (7 units)
- OR equipment includes Ziehm and GE/OEC C-arms, Siemens O-arms
Imaging Volume:
- OR (C-arm): ~6-7 scans per day
- Fluoroscopy: ~10 exams per day
- General X-rays: ~73 per day
Systems Used:
- Cerner Power Chart (EMR)
- RIS GE Centricity
- PACS Philips Intellispace
Scheduling & Work Conditions
Shifts:
- Start times vary between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM
- Regular shifts are 8 hours; 10-hour shifts (7:30 AM - 6:00 PM) possible
- 4/10s schedule with variable days including weekends, call, and holidays
Weekend/Holiday/Call:
- Weekends as needed
- Holidays as needed
- Call as needed
Dress Code:
- Scrubs provided for OR work (navy, gray, or mix)
- Casual clothes required when arriving to change (no loungewear)
Additional Notes
- Must have Washington State license at time of application
- Agency must provide Rad Badge for traveler
- Parking is not reimbursed; garage parking and public transit options available
- Orientation includes organizational modules and rotation through different areas over approximately 1 week
- Techs will be scheduled in one area but rotate weekly to cover multiple areas as needed
This position requires a versatile Rad Tech comfortable with multiple imaging modalities and flexible scheduling in a busy hospital environment.
