Job Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days
• Hours: 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
• Call Requirements:

  • Rotate call for inpatient and emergent cases approximately 1x per week
  • Weekend call approximately 1 weekend per month (Friday evening through Monday morning; subject to change)
• Work Environment:

  • 5 procedure suites: 2 coronary, 1 peripheral, 1 vascular & neuro, 1 electrophysiology (EP)
  • Average 10-22 cases per day
  • Cases performed with 2 techs (1 scrubs, 1 monitors hemodynamics)
  • RN provides conscious sedation; sometimes a 4th team member (RN or tech)
  • Lead Tech assigns rooms

Required Qualifications

• Current Cath Lab experience required
• Certifications: ARRT, Fluoroscopy, BLS (RCIS or CCT not accepted)
• Skills and knowledge in:

  • STEMI receiving facility protocols
  • Cardiac/coronary, vascular, peripheral, general interventional radiology (IR), and neuro intervention procedures
  • Comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation, procedural processes, airway management
  • Management of cardiac drips (e.g., Integrilin, dopamine, vasopressors)
  • Balloon pump operation
• Prior travel experience: No first-time travelers accepted
