• Role: MST Ortho RN
• Location: Lakewood, Washington
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights
• Hours: 36 per week
• Schedule: 3 days a week

• Unit: MS/Tele Ortho
• Beds: 34
• Patient ratio: 1:5
• Common patient types: total joints, cardiac rule out, PNA, psych, gen surgery post op

Required Qualifications

• BLS
• Must be able to titrate heparin
• Must be able to manage Nitro, Insulin, low dose dopamine, and dobutamine
• RN's read strips

Preferred Qualifications

• None stated

Floating

• May float to Med tele, PCU, ICU, or ER holding to care for MedSurg acuity patients
• If needed, travelers will be required to float throughout Region Two to St Joseph Medical Center – Tacoma, WA; St. Elizabeth Hospital – Enumclaw, WA; and St. Clare Hospital – Lakewood, WA

• Charge nurse/house supervisor: yes/yes
• Nurse aides: 1:8, max 1:12
• RT/equipment on unit: cpap, bipap, high flow
• Orientation: Can test out of Epic if experienced; will meet with unit educator and then complete 1 full shift orientation
• Scrub color/dress code: any color professional scrubs
