CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) - Minnesota, Cook

Job Details

• Contract Length: 20 weeks
• Shift: Variable start times (7:00, 7:30, or 8:00 AM)
• Hours: 8 hours per day, approximately 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend call shift per month (from 5:30 PM Friday to 7:00 AM Monday)
• Call Requirement: Weeknight call about once per week starting at 5:30 PM; 15-minute response time required, must be within 20 minutes of the hospital; called in approximately 18-20% of the time
• Meal, room, and board provided while on call

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging including strokes, traumas, CTA, and AAA dissection
• Perform general X-ray imaging (extremities, spines, chest)
• Willingness to learn and perform EKGs
• No fluoroscopy, arthrograms, or barium studies required
• Dexa experience not required and not performed by travelers

Equipment Used

• CT: Cannon Aquillon Prime SP
• X-ray: Carestream

Required Qualifications

• Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R)
• BLS Certification (AHA BLS)
• CT certification (ARRT-CT) preferred but not required
• Minimum 2 years of experience with CT and X-ray
• Willingness to learn and ask questions
• Open to first-time travel technologists

• 12-hour shifts are not available for this position
• Schedule is managed by the manager and may vary based on needs
