Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- ED - Emergency Department (3 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Role Overview
- Provides nursing care for a group of patients in the emergency department
- Performs patient assessment, develops care plans, implements interventions, and updates care based on ongoing evaluation
- Maintains accurate nursing documentation
- Collaborates with providers, patients, families, and staff
- Supports patient and staff safety and contributes to peer development
