Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse

Overview

• Travel assignment in Waukesha, Wisconsin
• 13-week contract
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Primary location: Waukesha Memorial Hospital
• Shift: 8-hour evenings
• Schedule includes every other weekend and holiday rotation

Unit

• 5 Med unit
• 53-bed unit
• Patient ratio: 1:7-8 possible

Float Scope

• May float to Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital and other like units as needed
• May be required to float to units and facilities based on census
• Should not be asked to work outside clinical skills unless approved by the employee, unit manager, shift advisor, and Staffency

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• 3 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
• Experience managing non-titratable cardiac drips
• Experience managing insulin drips
• BLS
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 traveler contract completed

Charting

• EPIC experience required within the last 12 months

• No on-call or call-back requirement
