Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

Job Overview

Travel assignment in Green Bay, Wisconsin
Start: ASAP
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour day/night variable schedule
Guaranteed hours: 36–48 per week
Primary unit: Intensive Care Unit

Required Qualifications

Active RN or compact license
AHA BLS
NIHSS
2+ years of ICU experience
Must be willing to float
Must be flexible with scheduling
Must be outside a 50-mile radius of the facility

Schedule Expectations

Possible float to Med Surg and PCU units
Every other weekend and holiday rotation
No on-call or call-back requirement

Clinical / Work Setting

22-bed ICU
Common patient types include sepsis, respiratory failure, CRRT, general surgery, vascular, and cardiac
Typical ratios vary by acuity, including 1:1 and 1:2

Additional Notes

Epic experience within the past 2 years is required
NIHSS completion is required before the end of orientation
Orientation includes 8 unpaid hours
Candidate must begin the medical portion of compliance within 48 hours of offer acceptance, or within 24 hours for a quick start
Scrubs: any solid color
