Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse
Job Overview
- Travel assignment in Green Bay, Wisconsin
- Start: ASAP
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour day/night variable schedule
- Guaranteed hours: 36–48 per week
- Primary unit: Intensive Care Unit
Required Qualifications
- Active RN or compact license
- AHA BLS
- NIHSS
- 2+ years of ICU experience
- Must be willing to float
- Must be flexible with scheduling
- Must be outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
Schedule Expectations
- Possible float to Med Surg and PCU units
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation
- No on-call or call-back requirement
Clinical / Work Setting
- 22-bed ICU
- Common patient types include sepsis, respiratory failure, CRRT, general surgery, vascular, and cardiac
- Typical ratios vary by acuity, including 1:1 and 1:2
Additional Notes
- Epic experience within the past 2 years is required
- NIHSS completion is required before the end of orientation
- Orientation includes 8 unpaid hours
- Candidate must begin the medical portion of compliance within 48 hours of offer acceptance, or within 24 hours for a quick start
- Scrubs: any solid color
