Registered Nurse – Long Term Care

Location: Appleton, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (8-hour PM shift)
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Start Date: ASAP

Job Description

Work primarily in Long Term Care, Assisted Living, and Rehab settings within a skilled nursing facility.
Float throughout the facility within your skillset and to other facilities within a 60-mile radius.
Weekend shifts every other week.
Holidays as needed.
No on-call or call-back requirements.
Any missed shifts must be made up within 2 weeks.
Patient ratios:
- Rehab: 1 nurse to 10 patients
- Long Term Care/Assisted Living: 1 nurse to 24 patients, supported by CNAs at a 1:10 ratio.
Charting experience with EPIC is strongly preferred.
Orientation: 8-hour unbillable orientation; hours may vary during orientation week.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin.
Minimum 2 years of Long Term Care experience, including experience within the last year.
Experience working in Long Term Care and Rehabilitation settings.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Additional Information

Scrub color: black (no hats or hoodies; scrub jackets allowed).
Local candidates are accepted.
Guaranteed set hours per week except during holidays when the unit may be closed.
