- Day and Night: 1 charge nurse, 4 nurses, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician, 1 midlevel provider per pod
Patient Ratios:
- Average 3:1, low acuity 5:1
- Pediatrics use team nursing
Equipment: Alaris infusion pumps
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas
Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
Experience traveling as a nurse
Experience working in large healthcare facilities

Strict adherence to patient and medication scanning protocols is expected
Competitive market; experience at large facilities and Meditech proficiency are valued
The unit values candidates who can keep pace with a busy ER environment and handle diverse patient needs
