Job Description

Seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech to work in a Level II Trauma Center with a 5-suite Cardiac Cath Lab unit. The unit performs diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, peripheral vascular procedures, pacers, ICDs, Watchman device implants, TAVR, and EP/ABL procedures.

Unit Details

• 5 procedure suites
• Staff includes 1 Director, 1 CNC, ~5 techs, and ~4.6 RNs
• Day shift: Full staff coverage
• Night shift: On-call crew for emergent cases
• Patient ratio: Approximately 1 patient per 3-4 staff members
• Equipment includes Shockwave, Laser, CSI, Penumbra, IABP, Impella, Rotoblator
• EMR systems: MacLab & Meditech

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist within the last year

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with EP/ABL procedures is a plus

Schedule & Additional Information

• Scheduled according to facility policy
• Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff
