Job Description

Seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech to work in a Level II Trauma Center with 5 procedure suites. The unit performs diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, peripheral vascular procedures, pacers, ICDs, Watchman, TAVR, and EP/ABL procedures.

Unit Details

• Bed Capacity: 309 total beds in the hospital
• Staff: 1 Director, 1 CNC, ~4.6 RNs, 5 techs
• Patient Ratios: Approximately 1 patient per 3-4 staff members
• Shifts: Day shift for all staff; night shift on-call for emergent cases
• Equipment: Shockwave, Laser, CSI, Penumbra, IABP, Impella, Rotoblator
• EMR Systems: MacLab & Meditech

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year
• Experience as a Centralized Cardiac Monitoring Technician
• Experience as a Vascular Technologist

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with EP/ABL procedures is a plus

Schedule & Additional Information

• Scheduled according to facility policy
• Expected to work every other weekend and holidays on a rotating basis with hospital staff
