Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

Seeking a Neurosurgery Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with at least 3 years of experience scrubbing neuro cases. This position is at a Level I Trauma Center and requires competency with:

  • Stryker instruments
  • Airo CT navigation
  • O-arm Navigation
  • Complex spine deformity cases
  • Brain surgery including MVM and brain aneurysm

Neuro call is expected between 50-150 hours of call during an 8-week block.


Work Schedule

  • Shift: 7 AM – 7 PM (day shift)
  • Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 to 48 hours preferred
  • Weekend hours: 36 hours (1:4 weekend rotation, 12-hour shifts)
  • Call Requirements: One overnight call (11 PM – 7 AM) for trauma call; call scheduling follows specialty team rules

Required Qualifications

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
  • Minimum 3 years of surgical technician experience, including neurosurgery CST experience scrubbing neuro cases
  • Surgical technician experience within the last year
  • Experience in a Level I trauma environment
  • Competence with Stryker instruments
  • Competence with Airo CT navigation
  • Competence with O-arm navigation
  • Experience with complex spine deformity cases
  • Experience with brain surgery including MVM and brain aneurysm
