Unit: STICU (Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit)
Beds: 10
Staff: 28 total
- Day Shift: 1 CNC, 5 Nurses
- Night Shift: 1 CNC, 5 Nurses
Patient Ratio: 1:2
Equipment: CRRT, Ventilators, Massive Transfusion Protocol (MTP), Hemospheres, Arterial Line, Targeted Temperature Management (TTM)
EMR System: Meditech

Required Skills

Critical Care training
Pressor medication management
Arterial line management
Critical drip management

Preferred Skills

Critical drip management
Arterial line experience

Typical Procedures

Bronchoscopy
Central Venous Catheter (CVC) and Arterial line insertion

Certifications Required

BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

Floating Areas: ICC, TCU, ICU
Dress Code: Royal Blue scrubs
