Unit Information

Unit: PICU (20 beds)
Staffing:
- Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 9 bedside RNs, 1 PCT
- Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 9 bedside RNs
Patient Ratios: 1:2 or 1:1
Equipment: Philips monitors, Alaris and Medfusion IV pumps
EMR System: Meditech

Required Skills

Care of respiratory failure (including ETT, HFOV)
Central line maintenance and care

Preferred Skills

Post-op cardiac experience
Venous puncture

CT placement
