Job Description
- Work in a 36-bed Renal Unit caring for patients with kidney-related conditions, including acute and chronic kidney disease.
- Specialize in post-hemodialysis and ongoing peritoneal dialysis care.
- Collaborate closely with nephrologists, family practice providers, and hospitalists.
- Support patients throughout their diagnosis, treatment, and recovery journey.
- Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals as needed.
- Work schedule options: 36 or 48 hours per week, including holidays and every other weekend.
Requirements
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- Licenses:
- Registered Nurse license in Alabama or Compact license (no temporary licenses accepted).
- NURSYS verification required.
- Certifications:
- AHA BLS or Red Cross certification required.
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience overall.
- At least 1 year experience specifically in renal specialty.
- Candidates with 18 months of experience under the highest level of professional license may be considered.
- Prior Travel Experience: Not specified as required.

- Patient-facing clinical role.
