Job Description

• Work in a 36-bed Renal Unit caring for patients with kidney-related conditions, including acute and chronic kidney disease.
• Specialize in post-hemodialysis and ongoing peritoneal dialysis care.
• Collaborate closely with nephrologists, family practice providers, and hospitalists.
• Support patients throughout their diagnosis, treatment, and recovery journey.
• Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals as needed.
• Work schedule options: 36 or 48 hours per week, including holidays and every other weekend.

Requirements

• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Licenses:

  • Registered Nurse license in Alabama or Compact license (no temporary licenses accepted).
  • NURSYS verification required.
• Certifications:

  • AHA BLS or Red Cross certification required.
• Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years nursing experience overall.
  • At least 1 year experience specifically in renal specialty.
  • Candidates with 18 months of experience under the highest level of professional license may be considered.
• Prior Travel Experience: Not specified as required.
